5 Newspaper Designs

I like this design because the stairs bring a great focal point. And it's not exactly in the center. It's off to the left and it brings an edge to it. I love how the stairs are not just straight, they curve around the text.

I really like this design. The title goes so well with the picture. Once I looked at the picture, I first thought of people being on edge. I like how the story is underneath the photo and it's very short. It's simple.

For this design, it looks like they are going more towards a magazine layout, which I think appeals to viewers more than just text. It's got a great photo with just a little bit of text.

Even though I hate the Patriots, I felt that this was a really strong design. It's a great photo and that's all you need with the title. It has great color and great balance. I like the font they use for the heading.

I like the design of this how his face isn't all the way in the picture. We know who he is just by what they are showing us. The crease in his eye ends right at the edge of the photo. Perfect symetry. The only thing I would change would be to get rid of the text at the bottom. It's a bit too much. Or lower it more or not have a white box around it. Have it blend in with the picture if it's along the same story.
